      Serving on Moonlight Harbor's city council seems like the perfect way for Jenna Jones to give something back to the small beachside town that has given so much to her. Of course, that's before she discovers that being on the council means having to find a solution to the deer problem. If council business isn't enough to keep Jenna busy, there are also a number of developments in her personal life, including the tug of war currently going on in her heart between Brody Green and Seth Waters that has her realizing that the deer might be the least of her worries. With the fifth endearing addition to her Moonlight Harbor series, following One Charmed Christmas (2020), Roberts proves again why she is the premier purveyor of small-town, feel-good romance. Love, laughter, and even a few tears are deftly integrated into the book's multithreaded plot as Jenna, her family, and her friends navigate life's challenges with hope and heart.
